QuickTime is Apple's video technology that allows you to play high-quality video directly on your computer. QuickTime is a set of extensions that, when used with movie software, lets you view video clips or even full-length video productions. Features introduced in QuickTime 4.0 included new audio controls for balance, volume, bass, and treble; ImageViewer support for BMP, GIF, JPEG, PICT, PNG, SGI, TIFF, Adobe Photoshop, and FlashPix; compression support for MPEG-1 Layer 3 (MP3) files, Sorenson Video, QDesign Music, Qualcomm PureVoice, H.261, GSM, and DVI; and video support for AVI, DV, Macromedia Flash, OpenDML, GIF, and FLC. All this and a flashy new interface, too. Version 4.1.2 improves Streaming behavior in broadband environments, fixes several streaming bugs, understands the MIME type for MP3 playlists, and improves Kodak Picture CD support. The download link will lead you to a form that must be completed prior to downloading.

Ibrahim Saad Helal It is a great program, I can control the speed of the video without voice corruption, voice still so clear. I recommend this program for whom want to save time and get rid of boring long time.

You I would've rated higher if it actually worked without slowing down my computer. The program is fine, and I have a good computer with 4 gigabytes of RAM. The problem is that my computer doesn't play multimedia and videos very well. It will lag and explorer will crash. Whenever I use Quicktime, it starts relatively fast, but then get the unresponsive signal in the title bar. Once it loads, the video plays fine, but then stops after a few seconds. The program would probably be good with a better computer, though. As far as I know, the average user has at least two, and I have 4 which probably makes 2 gigs horrible with this program.
